I'm fairly certain I used SQL 2000 though. I don't know off the top of my head whether SQL 2005 is officially supported in the beta yet.

I was running Beta 2 without TR fine until I did a clean install to Vista RC2. Office Beta 2 install fines but TR doesn't detect any office products. As soon as I run any application, it says the program has stoped working and refers me to windows update which there are no updates to download.
